Our first step in ensuring that we deliver a quality product to our customers is to ensure that a quality product is delivered to us. We have in place an extremely strict policy, whereby we will not accept any product unless it meets our own standards.

Our Quality Controller enforces the standards we require. He is an experienced handler of fruit and vegetables and is well versed in product quality.

Dimattina Provedoring is proud to be a Quality Endorsed company with ISO 9001 accreditation (Licence QEC 6441). We are also HACCP certified by Quality Assurance Services, Australia's leading quality assurance organisation.
Our Quality Controller pays extensive detail to the following points:

Product maturity is extremely important. The fruit cannot be too ripe or immature.
The product must be presented professionally and packed to ensure correct handling so that the product has every chance to reach our customers in premium condition.
We insist on a correctly graded and professionally packaged product.
Incoming stock is monitored when required for core temperature. The correct core temperature aids shelf life. Once received the product is held as close as possible to its optimum temperature until dispatched.

The above steps all ensure care is taken in our purchase of fruit and vegetables but that is far from the end of the procedure.

Order Picking

Care in selecting, packing and dispatching orders is the responsibility of our Warehouse Manager, who checks orders for quality, packing and presentation.

Customer Service & Product Returns

If for whatever reason, our product does not meet with our customer's approval, then we have a product replacement service, or if a suitable replacement is not available then we offer a substitute product. Every effort is made to service the needs of our customers as quickly as possible and with a minimum of fuss.
